How can I get my icecap gyre to be more quiet. It is an extremely loud humming noise on all levels except 10%. I have taken the unit apart and cleaned multiple times, as well as putting the unit in different areas.

If you remove the cages and propellers and run just the motor block do you still hear the noise?

It’s just the one side that is making the majority of noise. It is probably rubbing on the side, but I’m not sure how to get it to stop doing that

Either the cages are on too tight and pressing against the motor block or the propeller shaft may be crooked causing the noise.

I had the same horrible loud noise too until I realized the whole impeller magnet peice came out of the motor and I cleaned it and the motor now is dead quiet again. I was about to trash them and replace them with a different brand that would work with my hydros system.
