Hello I have had a max spect mazzara p series led light on my tank now
For 2 years and the other day my wife called me and said that the lightest were
Flashing on and of at 0-100% power really quickly like 3 flashes per second roughly.
So I told her to just unplug it and I would look at it when I got home from work. When
I got home I plugged it back in and it worked fine for another couple days and the evening before
It did it again I noticed that channel A was out and it was still at around 40% on the controler.
In the morning when the light was ramping back up it started flashing like it had done previously.
So I unplugged it and waited a bit and plugged it back in and no change it was still flashing how it was
Earlier and also during this channel A was not lighting up. I unhooked everything and pulled the lense
Cover off the bottom and noticed that some of the contacts that screws down to connect the led chips
To the Pcb had signs of excessive heat curling on the corners in my opinion maybe that is normal but anyway
I changed the 2 that were the worst which were all on channel A. When I got everything back togeather I plugeg in the light to the power supply and tried to power it up and nothing but I noticed that the green led was
Not lighting up on the power supply so dead power supply is now what in thinking the problem was. Could this have caused the light to flash how it was if the power supply was on the vurge of dieing. I have a video of the light flashing how it was also an also if the power supply was about to die could that have also caused channel A to go out and not light up aswell. Also my fan is set to come on as soon as possible lowest temp.
Thank you
Hope you can help.
