Yes the material that the skimmer is built with are considered ozone safe. You can simply splice into the airline right before the venturi to inject the ozone. Also be sure the top of the skimmer lid vents through activated carbon to filter ot the O3.

Leave the current airline there - just splice into it?
Where and how do I place the carbon - below or above the lid? Vents through activated carbon - how?

Venting the lid is going to take some unique fabrication. I am working on a carbon venting lid for such uses as ozone but its still in its early stages. I usually just get several large bags of carbon and place them around the top of the lid.

Should I drill a hole in the lid and put carbon bag on top of it.
Also where do I splice in the ozone tube specifically?

Your lid already has multiple holes. you just need to cover them all so that the outgoing air is filtered before entering your atmosphere. The ozone is best injected as close to the venturi/air intake as possible.
