Replacement pump for 110ext 4"

The pump I have for my octopus skimmer is not spinning very well and I'd like to get a replacement. I'm not sure which pump to order because I'm not finding the exact model number. I purchased my skimmer from bulk reef supply. Can you provide me with the correct pump to order? Can I order directly from you? Where are you located, and how long do you think it'll take to get to Oregon? Right now the pump is working but I have it assembled loosely so it will spin. I have cleaned it about every six months but I've had it for about two years so maybe that's just the end-of-life. Also I have it outside of myself is it possible to put the skimmer in myself to save space? Thank you so much for your help, Angie Harrison

I want to say that you need the Aquatrance 1000S pump (http://www.coralvue.com/aquatrance-1000-skimmer-pump) but would like to verify by looking at the pump you currently have.

Yes, looks like you have the OTP with the large gray output. You will need the following replacement pump.

You will also need to specify the DNW-110 adapter to retrofit the new pump to your skimmer.

The pump came, and does not connect. According to the diagram online, the attachment kit ( female 1") should just slip on to the input point on this pump ( it is 1/2" female), with only needing a black ring to secure. It does not fot it, is too big. I tried to get an adapeter, and I broke the ceramic post during the process. I am very frustrated. I've gone a week with out a skimmer. I just spent over $100 to get a replacement that did not work. I will take a picture and sent it via email. Please advise...

I am sorry for the inconvenience. I got the picture you sent and we will be sending you the right volute for the pump. This will allow you to hook up the pump with no issues. The replacements department will update your ticket with tracking information as soon as it becomes available. They will be shipping out the volute today.
