Big bubbles no skim mate

Hello,

I just purchased your Reef Octopus Hang On Skimmer (100-HOB). I've had it running for about a week and a half. The issue is that its not producing a frothy bubble that I have had on my other skimmers. I just creates very large "fizzy" bubbles that aren't creating any Skim Mate. Ive let it run for awhile to see if a break in would help but its just continuing to do the same. Any idea why this might be? Seems like perhaps there is an issue with the unit.
