It depends on if your pump has 4 screws or 3.
With 4 screws you remove the oring behind the impeller plate. Then there are two pry areas marked in the impeller plate located at the 4 o-clock position and the other is at 8 o-clock. You can see how the impeller assembly is constructed here: http://www.coralvue.com/media/usersg...nersManual.pdf
It is one with three screws holding the volute cover then you just grab the grey impeller plate and pull outwards.
