Hello
I have had my skimmer for 3 months and it doesnt seem to skim as good as my bubble magus before this..am i doing something wrong?
My water level is 8
Manual states to make sure the pea size bubnles are right by the neck, in order for it to go that high the gate valve is almost completelt closed at 80..is this normal? Havent had a skimmer with this kind of adjusting, please help me out since this skimmer was not cheap..
Tjank you.

Can you provide us with pictures or a video of the skimmer running please? Also, what size tank (not including the sump) are you running?

Hi carlos,
Sure..
Here are the details you need:

75g tank not including 30g sump
Salinity is stable at 1.026 (reefkeeper monitored and refracto checked)
The tank is stocked heavy with Sps and some Lps. Feed coral every other night with reef roids, reef chili, and various other brand coral food. I also have 5 fish including 2 tangs that are 3" each that i feed daily.
My turnover rate i have not calculated..but i have a jebao pump that pushes 9000gph set at half way.
The skimmer water level is fixed at 8" deep and does not fluctuate. Water in skimmer area is tranquil and no turbulence or bubbles are present.
I know this skimmer has a different way of dialing in since in order for bubbles to reach neck the output had to be almost closed.
Let me know if any other info you may need from me to dial in this skimmer.
