I connected my dosing pump to my phone with the app, set a schedule and every time I walk out of the room, the pump disconnects. I restarted my phone and still the same thing. Disconnect message when I leave the room.

Please note that the X1 communicates through Bluetooth which has a limited signal distance. The alert is notifying you that you have reached the max distance and have disconnected. You don't need to stay connected for the X1 to work. You only need to connect when making changes to the dosing schedule, and time or to manually dose. Once you have inputted the dosing schedule the X1 will retain the program and dose as programmed without being connected to your mobile device. I hope this helps clarify things a bit.
