Do you have a bubble trap installed in your sump?

Turn off the skimmer for a little while (couple of hours will not harm the tank) and check to see if the micro bubbles go away?

You may be running the return pump a little shallow so I have a feeling that every now and then, the return pump sucks in a little air creating the micro bubbles.

Ive tried shutting off for 4 hours yesterday and the bubbles stopped until I plugged it back in and I also tried putting more water in the pump chamber but if I go anymore I have to worry about overflow if I lose power.

How long has the skimmer been running for?

How old is the tank? It looks like a new sump. Is the tank new?

That is probably why. The skimmer has a 3-4 week breakin period in which it will act a little erratic such as overflowing or producing micro bubbles. Once the system settles and the skimmer normalizes, the bubbles will go away. Just give it a little more time. The bubbles do not harm the system and will go away as your tank matures.
