I have the old version of the reef octopus space saver 110, is there anyway to upgrade the skimmer,like with parts from the new 150, without paying for new one? Thanks!

No, you would have to purchase the new skimmer. Depending on which version of the CLSC-110SSS skimmer you have, the only difference between them may be the look of the skimmer. Both skimmers use the same AQ1000S pump and both skimmers have the same dimensions.
