XP2000 Internal skimmer

hi, my question is I added a 3 inch neck to my xp2000 skimmer it sits in 6 and 1/2 inches of water in the sump. with the three inch neck 107 should I raise the level in the sump, and what would be the highest level in the sump for that setup. Thanks so much for your help and time. Ray Lardani

No, leave the water level as is. I am assuming you added the neck extension because you wanted to increase the area in which the water and the air mix before overflowing into the collection cup. If you add the neck extension, it will do that but if you then lower the skimmer (raise the water level), then you are nullifying the neck extension you just added.

You can probably lower it a little more. We recommend 5.75-6" of water for the INT version of the XP2000 skimmer.
