Will the Maxspect Razor R420R LED Stainless Steel Leg Mounting Kit work with the nano version? I can't hang the light from the ceiling. The included clamp doesn't work on a tank with a rim because the rim flexes too much. Unless you can think of a better option, I think adding a clamp on both sides of the light fixture and mounting it sideways over the tank may be my best option? Thanks.

Yes it will work, you may need to trim the ends but it will work.
