Hello, I'm setting up a 265 gallon FOWLR tank and would like to know if I should get the HY-7000 or HY-10000 for my return. The tank has a double return and I'm looking at about 8ft of head pressure. I'd like to avoid adding powerheads inside the display tank. My sump will be a 75 gallon tank & I might like to( T it off ?) to feed a Bio- pellet reactor. Thanks.

With a FOWLR tank, we recommend a pump that can move 5-7 times the tank volume. In your case, you need a pump that can move around 1800 gph at 8 feet head pressure.
I would actually recommend the following:

or, the 16000 which will give you more than you need but you can always install a gate valve to adjust flow.

Both pumps will give you the necessary water movement at 8' and will allow enough pressure to be able to Tee off to a reactor and other equipment.
