I have a 65 gallon corner overflow tank. I just purchased and set up the icecap 3k. I have it set up on the opposite end of the tank from the overflow, a few inches below the water surface. Set at the lowest setting of 10% the flow is so strong it blows my corals over and causes a major sand storm. Adjusting the cages upward a bit causes the wave so high it almost spills out of the tank still set at just 10%. It seems that this could happen at the stronger settings, but not at just 10%. The only way I can have a reasonable amount of flow is to run it in reverse modes. Is it normal for it to be this strong in forward mode at just 10% setting? I have seahorses in this tank and took the advice of the breeder that I got them from as to the purchase of this gyre. He said he has several of them set in tanks and they work great in a seahorse tank. I feel like mine is way way more powerful than he is describing his to be. Could there be something wrong with my controller?

That does seem a little strong for 10% flow. Can you take a video to send me? If you are planning on doing a warranty request on the pump please submit a ticket in the CoralVue support portal: https://www.coralvue.com/support/
