Hello a couple months back I had problems with my razor light. A gentleman helped me out by sending me a board. Well in one of those posts I sent I mentioned that I have bought 3 of those fixtures in the last year. Well now I've got a new problem with a different fixture than the one that had problems with before. I was near my tank and smelled something burning and I happened to look up and see smoke. I took the light apart and found a burnt out capacitor. Its on the board that I believe controls the fans not the lights. I was wondering if someone could help me out with this problem. I was also wondering if i could still use the light, if it only controls the fans. I can send a picture to a email if needed.

Okay well I might be wrong on what the board controls and I think I answered my own question about using it. Its the red board that has the nob with the timing display on it.

Does that come with the screen as well, because im not sure if the screen unplugs from the board.

Hey Chris i was wondering where my parts at. So i tracked it with the numbers you gave me. It says it was delivered over a month ago. So im assuming you gave me a the tracking number for the bad part from the other fixture i had problems with. Just wondering whats going on. Its been almost 2 weeks now and i still dont have that circuit board yet.

Hey Chris I received my part today and replaced the bad one. I have a problem though. My digital read out lights up blue, but i dont have any letters or numbers. This is really starting to get frustrating. Ive got a 500 dollar light that hasn't worked for almost a month now. Im not pissed at you or nothing, but I need help. I don't know if it's just the read out or something else. Do you have anything i can try and do. It was still working when the other board was bad and smoking.

Well Chris I came up with the great Idea of using one of my read outs from my other working light to program the other light. I programmed it and put it back into its original light and now that one doesn't work either. So this seems to be a cheap part to me. So now I've got 2 fixtures I cant program. So I was going to see if you could send me two read outs. I've got no problem paying for them, but was hoping you guys could send them to me as soon as possible. I understand you won't probably read this until after the weekend, but when you do. Can you please get back to me as soon as possible. I would also like to know if there is some trick to this part, because I don't understand why it just stops working.
