I have two of these models on my 75 gallon reef tank, love the lights. Had them running at full power and had to kick them down a bit because they were too powerful for some of my coral. Just noticed the fans on them were not ruining when took a peek. Do they kick on periodically or are they supposed to run at all times? Also, any suggestions on perfect time points and powers for optimum coral growth/ health? I have zooanthids, torches, frogspawn, Duncan's, dendros, blastos, acans, GSP, mushrooms, elegance coral, sun coral, neon green coral, and Xenia in my reef tank. Mine are as follows, just changed them today from preset 2 which I had been running for months:
TP 1 8:00 A: 0 B:1
TP 2 10:00 A: 20 B: 80
TP 3 12:00 A: 70 B: 100
TP 4 16:00 A: 70 B: 100
TP 5 18:00 A: 50 B: 100
TP 6 20:00 A: 0 B: 1
After a couple of months I had some pretty bad algae issues but all my parameters were perfect, I'm thinking it was due to running the lights too strong. Love having the blues for moonlight. Other than that open to suggestions!

The fans only come on when the Razor's body reaches 125F.
There isn't a perfect time point setting. Every aquarium is different and it is impossible to recommend settings.
