I bought and setup a classic 100-HOB about a week ago. It has been working perfectly ever since.
Inside the box were 2 black o rings. After inspecting the parts and looking at the explosion chart, I gathered that 1 of these black o rings goes between the water inlet pipe (part k) and the union (part n) that attaches to the pump.
All of the other o rings listed on the explosion chart seem to be preinstalled. This leaves me with 1 extra black o ring.
Is this one meant to be an extra replacement o ring or am I missing something?

There usually is not any extra orings but it would not be the first time a extra came with your skimmer.
