I have a Reef Octopus CR-150 and im experiencing a humming/vibrating noise from the pump. I took apart the reactor to clean it and make sure there was no loose debris floating below making the noise. I rinsed out the pump made sure there was no loose debris inside there. Reconnected everything but it still is making that noise. Any suggestions?

Did you pull out the impeller to make sure that there was no damage to the magnet or the magnet channel inside the pump?

I did not, not sure how to do that. Didn't want to force the over and break it.

Yes, you will need to open it up and check. It is part of regular pump maintenance and should be done on a regular basis.

Reef Octopus is the brand. If you can provide me with the model of the pump, I can give you instructions on how to take it apart.
