I have a Diablo xs200 and i need a replacement pump. I don't think i require the adaptor but i'm not sure. The replacement Sicce PSK-1000 pump includes the threads shown? and is this 'adaptor' the union? If so the pump would just be plug and play correct?
Thanks

If your skimmer originally came with a PSK-1000, then you only need the pump. You need the adapters if your skimmer came with a pump other than the PSK-1000.

If your skimmer came with the PSK-1000, then you just need the pump and it will connect to your skimmer just like the old PSK-1000 did.

Yes, you can use the Aquatrance 3000S. No need for additional adapters. It will connect right to your skimmer just like the PSK1000 did.

I would actually recommend the Aquatrance over the Sicce pump. The Aquatrance is more efficient.

Kindly help me understand how is the Aquatrance more efficient. From looking at the stats side by side. The Aquatrance pulls more air then the Sicce but has a lower GPH. I figured more air is better over water flow, however, would Aquatrance's 211 GPH be enough to drive the water up through the extend neck roughly a foot to the collection cup?

Yes, the more air you can pull in, the more foam and froth the skimmer can produce and the more it will be able to filter. You can push as much water into the skimmer as you can but the foam is what makes the skimmer work and the more air you can pull in, the more foam the skimmer will produce and be more efficient.

Could a Bubble Blaster HY-3000s Skimmer Pump work as well?

Yes, here is the link to the pump. Just make sure you add the right output adapter...
