My reef octopus 1000HOB skimmer is been running for two days, everything works out great except the
skimmer pump is making vibration noise, it causing collection cup top cover to vibrate and making extremely loud noise. Theres vibration noise and water outlet pipe noise really bothering me. Hope anyone can help me to eliminate these noise. Thanks!

Have you taken the pump apart to see if something is jammed inside the impeller chamber? Also, make sure that that the ceramic shaft is not broken.

And it's normal for pump to vibrate that cause collection cup cover to make loud vibration noise? Somebow I fixed it by taping the cover to the cup. I think bubble and water running sound is quiet loud I can heard it from other room. So is there any suggestion to reduce the sound? Thanks

What you describe is not normal and that's why I am suggesting that you take the pump apart and check the impeller and the ceramic shaft.

I just notice my collection up is not perfectly flat and it's bend upward a little which cause cover to vibrate and make noise since day 1 I have it. Will that be able to replace? The collection up cover.
