I put my hand in front of my 280, and water is coming out of the front and bottom of the cover, at the same time, when in standard mode. Causing my sand to blow everywhere underneath it. Why?

Probably the cages are not installed correctly. Make sure that cage A and propeller A are on the left side and cage B and propeller B are on the right side. If you mixed them up, it would cause the issue you are describing.
