I have the elite 150sss skimmer. The web site said that the cleaner-150 is compatible with it. I just received the cleaner but I don’t see how to use the float valve from the original cap and the pump won’t run unless the float valve is plugged into the controller. Is there something I am missing? Is there a work around?

Not all cleaners have the float switch port on them, unfortunately, the 150 does not have an option for the float switch. In order to make your pump work you will need to disconnect the float switch from the controller and turn the float switch option off on the controller.
