Hello my kamoer FX-STP is clocking nonstop, I believe from the pin.

Please see linked video of the issue:
https://youtu.be/N9YHiFqBa4c

Can you confirm the solution to resolve the clicking?
The pump is under 6 months old and has been operating at 84mls/min non-stop.

Thank you so much.

Sorry for the issues you are having with your FX-STP. The obnoxious sound that you are experiencing is likely from one of the individual wheels that make up the large wheel need to be lubricated or the setscrew on the main wheel has vibrated loose. The wheels are assembled with a ton of lubricant along with the wheels and with time and use the lubricant becomes displaced.

There is no way to actually take the wheel apart to clean each individual wheel. So what I do is apply a good amount of oring lubricant along the side of a credit card and with the dosing pump running. I apply it along the edges of the rollers. You will hear the difference as it is applied. If you do this every couple of months it keeps it running quietly and keeps any corrosion or debris from interfering with the rollers.

The main roller can also be removed if you want or need to get better access to the wheel. There is an allen key set screw on one side of the large wheel below the smaller white wheels which lock the large wheel to the motor shaft.

Hope this helps. if you continue to have issues with your pump it may need to be sent in for service. To do so please submit a support ticket at coralvue.com/support

Hi Jeremy,

Thank you very much!

Do you have a video or pictures illustrating? It’s hard to understand what you mean by “edge of rollers”?
The end side of the rollers? Or the flat long edge?

It would be really helpful to see how this is done.

Why would I need access to the wheel?

Thank you again!!!!

There is a set screw on the wheel that locks it in place. If it were to come to loose the wheel could slip on the shaft causing the sound you are experiencing. Sorry, we do not have a video but here is an image showing the edge of the roller and I circled where the setscrew is located for reference: https://d.pr/i/qqOQdH

Please make sure the locking retainer is in position and tightened against the tubing. I would also remove the doser from the reactor and test to make sure it is drawing water as it should and the issue is not due to the calcium reactor setup.

The tightening screw was the issue! It was working last night, but must of lost over time.

Thank you so much! Clicking is gone too :)
