Hello, I have two 120W Razor LED fixtures. Each has a switching power supply, and these power supplies become so hot that I cannot touch them for more than one second without burning my hand. Is this normal/how hot is too hot?

Andrew,

The power supplies should not be getting that hot. I have had just about zero problems with these power supplies. Please let me know where you have them located and how you have them mounted.

I've placed them on their sides in hope it would help, but they're still very hot. They are in an open bookshelf. Pic attached.

Andrew,

The power supplies should get no warmer than 125F in open air. Have you tried positioning them temporally outside the bookshelf? Maybe the bookshelf isn't letting the heat dissipate and the ambient is higher than room temperature? .

Thanks, Chris, I'll watch them to make sure they're not over 125F.
