pump not working

Hi my name is jason mercado i purchased a reef octopus ex 8000 from salty supply on black friday. today the recirculating pump is not running. i check the power and the outlet has power. what should i do? my tank is heavily stocked therefore i have resolve this matter quickly. please advise how to trouble shoot or replace. thank you for your concern
