I cannot register my pump. I do not know what is a number or a letter. Too many 0 symbols that look exactly a like. I have B01A01x01846. Can you tell me what is a number or a letter so I can register my product. Also, the pump keeps entering a fault mode when it goes into reverse flow possibly. It initially went into fault then I thought maybe I fixed it when I took the cages off and reassembled. It woked for some time then went into fault mode. I think I lost atleast $2,000 of coral last night from this stupid pump. It was also pretty noisy and hard to set up a proper flow when it was not in fault. I got these to replace my vortechs but I am not impressed at all so far.

Sorry for the inconvenience. What speed are you running the reverse mode at? During break-in period, which can last up to 3 weeks, try to run the pump at 40% speed or above. This will allow bacterial to coat all surfaces and reduce friction. Once the pump is broken in, then you will have no issues running the pump below 40% speed.

In terms of the serial number, they are all zeros.

Thank you for the reply. I was running the pump in gyre mode. The normal flow was 40% maximum. Any higher I was blowing the water out of my tank and onto the floor or it was too strong for my corals and was tearing them apart if I angled it down anymore. I tried changing the speed on the reverse flow but it went into fault at least a dozen times. One time I didn't catch it and most of my sps got rapid tissue necrosis during that time. I had to put my vortechs on to try to save the rest of my tank. I cannot live with a pump that will randomly go into fault mode. It already almost killed my whole tank. The tank is a 75 gallon. 48x18x18. Please help.

Please use the "Submit a Ticket" link on the right hand side and be sure to include proof of purchase and the serial number on the back of the dry magnet. We will escalate this issue.

Thank you,
