I have two lights residing 3-inches over my 130-gallon freshwater tank, 24-inches deep, 17-inches wide by 5-ft long. Lights have been set to 90% in the daytime serving various Amazonian plants but recently experienced a massive outbreak of cyanobacteria (blue/green algae). I've finally beaten the algae back (by completely rebuilding the tank, dose of Marycel, followed by turning off light for 5-days) and have this question; how much is too much light? What is the best setting for both spectrums (percentage-wise) during peak hours of photosynthesis, for as i said, 24-inch deep tank.
The general question is being asked by others on line and if answered here, i will spread.
Best!

Do you still have the original box? There is a model and serial number on one of the ends of the Razor. Do you still have your purchase receipt?

Tobe,

You're over lighting your aquarium, and if possible I would raise the light higher over the tank. Drop the intensity to a peak of 60% during the daytime to see what changes occur.
