I recently purchase a rdcs-250 ext and a rdcs-200ext I'm having a problem with the 250ext not creating enough to bubbles (slim to none) it's been running 48 hours now. Still no signs of improvement. The rdcs 200 I just install 2 hours ago is created a ton of bubbles and running smoothly.

Skimmers take 3 weeks to properly break in so the skimmer acting erratically after 2 days of use is very normal. I would suggest give it time to properly break in and then if the skimmer is properly matched to the tank size (not including the sump) and the right amount of flow (Gph) is fed into the skimmer, it will work as it should.
