Hello - I am using this reactor on a 250 gallon Heavy Demand SPS tank and I am going through one 40lb bottle a month. There are no leaks as this has been tested more than a few times. I am dosing 58ml per minute and 60 bubbles per minute in the counter. Should this valve be open or closed? I understand the design that it is meant to recirculate the CO2 for No-waste, but I am still seeing a lot of excess CO2 at the top of Chamber one with the valve open. Please confirm how this Valve is to be used. There is NO explanation in any of your manuals. Thanks Ed

Sorry meant to say seeing a lot of excess CO2 at the top of chamber one with the valve CLOSED, not open.

If you have a lot of excess CO2 at the top, that means you are injecting too much CO2 and wasting it. The valve at the top should always be open to allow for the accumulated CO2 to be recirculated.

great thank you very much. it has been closed. I am also thinking I might need a bigger reactor!
