Br-140 question

Hi I just picked up 2 br-140s and trying to figure out what the difference in them as far as performance. In the picture of the one soaking right now it has a lip inside the reactor that keeps the plate from sliding down and a strait pipe the screen is damaged can that be replaced? Also the clear acrylic piece in the top doesn't have holes On the other reactor that's together it has a 2 piece pipe and right at the coupling it looks like according to the diagram a check valve that is missing do I need that? Also on the red piece there is no screen and the clear piece has holes on this one but sit loose am I missing a part? I was looking at the site and confused what one is the new and old and which new screen you sell is meant for what version.
