Hi there,
I've spent a few days trying to figure out how to deal with a light that almost caught fire due to the wrong part being installed at the factory (inductor). How do I go about getting this taken care of?
It's a serious fire hazard and there are kids in the house.

Please advise on how to get Maxspect to fix this issue ASAP

Please and thanks in advance

One of the driver coils has failed on your Maxspect Razor. We have a kit that I can send you with all of the replacement parts necessary to return your Razor to working condition. The repair is very easy, all that is needed is a Phillips head and small flathead screwdrivers. Otherwise you can return the Razor to us and we will perform the service for you. Please let me know how you would like to proceed.

Your Razors are past the one year warranty period.

Replacement parts to ship to you are $75.00 + shipping, in house service by CoralVue are $100.00 + return shipping. Pricing is for each unit.

Hi Chris. Thanks again for the reply.
I'm under the impression that this should be something that Maxspect should cover. Even though it's beyond the warranty period I've read in several forums that maxspect apologized that was an error in the component used (inductor material).
Here's one example where the part was replaced beyond warranty, even including the LED pucks, which I'm not asking for...

It's not a monetary issue, it's the principal. I have no issue with replacing the components myself, even just replacing the faulty inductor

Cheers

That would be awesome, thank you so much.
Do you have an email to send my address to? I'd rather not post it here :)
