I want to run a DC pump on my reef octopus prime 200int I was looking at the varios 4 to control it with my apex will it fit or do i need to get adapters for it.

Unfortunately the only pump that works with the Prime is the Aquatrance. This is due to the position and size of the skimmer water intake hole.

I was looking at the same size reef octopus elite and that's the pump it uses are you sure it wont fit it looks almost identical and measures the same.

The holes for the pumps output is positioned at a different level, size and connection type. The VarioS pump is not a direct replacement and would require modifying the skimmer body to adapt the pump to fit.
