That means your WaveEngine is running an outdated firmware version. There are two ways to fix that:
1) If you have an old Android device that has not been updated to the latest OS, you can download the app there and then run the WiFi setup using these special instructions: https://www.coralvuehydros.com/product-support/hydros-waveengine/connecting-to-your-wifi-network-legacy/
Once you connect to it and update the firmware, you will access it on your current Android device.
2) If you are within the US, I can send you a prepaid shipping label for you to send back your unit, and I will send you a new one with the latest firmware installed so you can access it with your current Android device.
