I have a SRO-6000 SSS skimmer that is plugged into an apex EB832 power bar. At times the power consumption will increase to over 90 watts. This seems to be at times when the skimmer is most active and presumably the bioload is high. Is this increase in power consumption by the pump normal? Does it indicate problems with the pump or the EB832 is malfunctioning?
