Considering purchasing the new XF250 and watching one of the YouTube videos it showed what appeared to be a phone controlling the pumps. Is this true or was that something else?

At this time the Gyre pump can not be controlled via app. With the use of the ICV6 (wireless hub) you will eventually be able to wirelessly control the gyre with an app via mobile device. We do not have any further details on the development of the app at this time.

Yes that is correct the GYre 150 will be compatible with the New Advance controller that comes with New Gyre XF 250
