I'm considering the DCS 170 for my 90 gallon mixed reef with 20gal sump. I know it's a little overpowered, but I don't want to fall short like other skimmers have in the past.
My question is, does the skimmer come completely disassembled for cleaning? I see the bubble plate is removable, but from the online pictures, it's hard to tell if the body can be removed from the base plate.

No they don't come apart for cleaning. The POV skimmers do come apart for cleaning.
