The pump just stopped after a year. Ordered a replacement pump. Reinstalled, clear water lines, same way it was hooked up for a year. Restarted above the water line, sensor reads it needs water but Will Not activate the pump. Nothing happens, alarms rings but no water being pumped. I'm connected correctly pump to pump, power to power. Nothing

Hi Mark,

Is this the micro ato? you may need to purchase a new sensor if it is not activating the pump. Have you checked to make sure the sensor is clean and unobstructed?

Hi Angie,
Yes it's a micro.
Thanks. I didn't think it was the sensor because it is clean, it realizes that the water has gotten low and sends the alarm, but never triggers the pump. If I lower the sensor into the water line, or manual fill the chamber, the sensor shuts off the alarm like it's functioning normal.

I would recommend purchasing a new pump and you can do that at this link:

That's exactly what I did. That's why I'm here, because the brand New pump I received isn't triggering to pump. I sent an email with a receipt pic because I didn't buy it direct here. Just surprised me I'd still have the same problem when my 1st reaction was OK need a new pump. When that fix failed, I turned here.
Again, thanks for your time and help.

How long is the length of the refill tubing from the pump in the reservoir to the where it refills the tank?

About 4 feet of tubing between the pump and the chamber. Goes straight up, the only bend being at the end where it goes into the tank.
