Micro ATO Not Pumping

Hello,

My Micro ATO was working perfectly fine for the last week, however this morning I woke up to the red sensor going off. I assumed this was because the water reserve was low - however when looking this wasn't the case. I unplugged and replugged in the ATO, and the blue light would flash indicating that it was pumping water; but the pump never turned on. It would flash the blue light for about 30 seconds before going back to red flashing.

A little concerning that I've ran into this issue, when nothing has changed in the set up over the last week and it was previously working perfectly fine. Do you by chance know what the issue could be, or should I just switch to a possibly more reliable ATO from a different manufacture?

Have you taken the pump apart to see if something may be jamming the impeller inside the pump? Remove the impeller from the pump and check the impeller's magnet. Make sure it is not cracked.

I haven't done this, but will look into it. Would be shocked if anything would have gotten into the pump though, since it's only ever been in a 5 gallon bucket with RO water. Is there a guide for taking the pump apart, I'd hate to cause more damage.

Thank you,

No, there is no guide to remove the pump apart. It is like any other pump. Remove the cage to expose the volute. Twist the volute off the motor block and pull out the impeller. Pretty straight forward.
