Hi, I'm looking at upgrading my skimmer on fly 175 gallon reef tank and wanted to know what skimmer you would recommend. It will be going in my sump with is 14.5" wide by 24" long.

Thanks

Jason,

I would recommend the following skimmers for your system...

or

I was looking at the SRO2000int skimmer but thought it might be to small for my system so I looked at the SRO3000int skimmer. Would the 3000 be to large for my system?

Thanks,

Currently I have a yellow tang, blue hippo tang, green chromis, two percula clowns, tailspot blenny, bangai cardinal, some lps, sps, and a few softies. I will be adding a few more fish and a lot more coral in the future.

Thanks,

Hmmm, the SRO3000int would still be a stretch on any 175.

That's what I wanted to know. I just wanted to make sure that I get the correct size skimmer. I don't want to have to change and get another one right away. I know my tank size is somewhat in the middle of the sizing charts.

Thanks,
