impeller problem

I have a Reef Octopus BH-2000 skimmer. Recently while running perfectly fine, it started making a loud noise and producing a vibration. I have taken the pump off the housing and cleaned the impeller magnet but it still is making the noise and vibration when powered on. should I order a new impeller or does this sound like the pump has gone bad.

I have been using this skimmer for a little less than 2 yrs.

Most likely the issue is the impeller. My suggestion would be to replace the impeller.
