What is the technical reason for 3K not being able to stop on random mode?

Hello,

While programming my 3K gyre for random mode, I realized the minimum speed for random mode is 20%. In this mode it basically fluctuates between 10% and 20%. But It cannot be set to 10% to fluctuate between 10% and 0%. If I am not wrong, the reason for this is pump not being able to stop in random mode(or any of the pulse mods actually). So if it even was set at 10%, it would just be constant 10% flow, since pump cannot stop.

What is the rational behind this? Does stopping and starting cause additional stress on the pump and so it was not included in the programming?

If not, can this function be added in a future firmware update? Actually it would be even better if the pump can go to zero at any set max speed . Like when set to 80%, 0% should also be one of the random speeds the pump could fluctuate to.

Hello Kaan.

At this time there is no plans for the programming to change with the 3K system that I am aware of, I will however forward your request / thoughts to the manufacture so they can look it over.
Thank you for your questions and comments.
