Brand new Icecap ATO Pump Not Working Due to Cracked Impeller Magnet

I recently purchased and recived the IceCap ATO. After installing the unit, I couldn't get the pump to work. After reading several issues with this unit, I inspected the impeller and found the magnet to be cracked. I have a photo of the cracked magnet that I will attach to an email for your review.

I would like to have a new impeller to replace the defective one I received with my recent order. Please let me know if you have any questions.

FYI, Marine Depot is sending me replacement Ice Cap ATO unit. Although I would like to cancel this request, I think this may have been either a manufacturer or quality control issue that needs to be investigated.

The magnet likely was damaged during shipping or handling. A simple replacement of the impeller would remedy the ato to working conditions and a whole replacement is not required.

My new ATO was not working and I was looking through here for help and found your post. Checked my impeller and its cracked too. Seems like a quality control issue. Mine was cracked in 2 places.
