I'm thinking of buying a Reef Octopus VarioS CR140 but I have a JBJ 45 would this be way to big for my tank? because i'm thing of upgrading withing a year. Is there a way to dial it down for it to work with my tank?

How many gallons is the JBJ 45? Unfortunately we are not familiar with the tanks. The CR140 can handle tanks up to 200 gallons.
