Regal 200-S Having Issues with Gate Valve

At certain settings the knob vibrates. It can be quite noisy sometimes. I usually have to hold the knob or adjusted it slightly to minimize the vibrations (and noise). I had several of your skimmers and never encounter an issue with a vibrating gate valve before. Is this normal??

Have you tried putting some teflon tape on the connecting pipe to tighten up the fit between the pipe and the gate valve? That usually solves the issue and makes it tighter so the gate valve does not rotate when you turn the knob.
