I am contemplating purchasing a Gyre 230, I noticed in the following promtotional video on You Tube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6evXRoaVGj0 which at 1:02 timestamp shows the use of an app to communicate with the pump, stating it is available at Google Play and the Apple App store. Is there in fact an app that can be used with the controller/pump?

Yes, the manufacturer is finalizing the app at this time. They are not providing us with a release time at this time.
