Gyre xf250 controller

I recently purchased two xf250 pumps and the controller. In the process of programming the controller it only shows the LTC preset. I would like the OGC preset but this controller does not show it despite following the YouTube instruction video. The firmware is version 1.4. I bought the unit from Saltwater Aquariums via Amazon two months ago but they are unable to help me with this issue. Do I have outdated firmware?

Yes, you need to upgrade to the latest version of the firmware. The one you have is very very old. Here is how you update the firmware...

So I bought the SanDisk Ultra 32GB microSDHC UHS-1 Card with Adapter. I then downloaded the firmware update for the XF250 onto the memory card from my Mac computer. The card shows that it now has about 2.7 MB on it. I then followed the instructions and inserted it into the controller, then turned the power off. I then turned the power back on while holding down the dial and saw the prompt to upgrade. I then pushed the dial to select upgrade but it doesn't upgrade. It doesn't appear to do anything except show LTC in auto mode and still has version 1.4. What else can I do? It's frustrating to have to go through this in the first place.
