Hello. I currently have a very large reactor made by triton. It's 30" tall and 8" in diameter. It works well for running super fine media like gfo and coppersorb. I was curious if I could use the reef octopus bio churn for the same media. I have several tanks and need two reactors, which is why I can't use the triton on this tank. I have a bRS reactor but it's so small that the media floats up and thru the cap and foam sponges. I think I need a wider base of flow and not something so concentrated ( like a stream of water ) which is what I get with the bsr. I would like to push a min of 100 gph they it without the media floating to the top.
Thanks.
Larry

Our biopeller reactors were made for biopellets and not other media. We do not recommend using any other media in our biopellet reactors.
