I bought a used pro 250, and it currently has a sicce psk-2500 on it. this pump is loud. curious what is the current production pump that would compliment this skimmer? what are the parts i would need to connect the two? the sicce is basically slip fitted to the pump/volute(air tube).

Unfortunately the skimmer is too old and we no longer support the skimmer. We no longer have any of those skimmers left and we don't have any parts left. Anything that was left for that skimmer was unfortunately lost during Katrina. The skimmer had been long discontinued before Katrina. Katrina just took what little was left of it.

It is not too much to ask. We don't have that skimmer anymore and we do not have any accessories or parts for it. We also have no information about retrofitting it with the newer pumps because that skimmer was discontinued many years ago.

Ok wait... I know this skimmer was shipping in 2008, hurricane Katrina was in 2005. This is my third reef octopus, I have one sitting on the shelf nwb-150. Only reason I bought this one is because it is muck better built than your current line up. With this kind of customer service I might have to switch to vertex.
I'll make sure I voice my concerns with my friends on reef central..

The skimmer was discontinued but that does not mean that the stores stopped selling it. If a store had it in stock and sold it to you, that is up to them.

Very odd. Essentially I wasn't asking for support on an old skimmer, I was asking for your recommendation on how I should spend my money on your equipment to upgrade my old equipment..
