I see that he DCS150 uses the DC-3500 pump and the water draw at full speed is 237gph. But he DC-3500 pump is rated at 925gph. Why the huge difference in ratings from the same pump? Air vs no air?

Also, which skimmer would be quieter, the DCS150 or the SRO-1000INT? Or are the about the same?

The DC3500s has a pinwheel which draws less water as it processes and chops the air. The DC3500w water pump has a prop impeller which produces the higher water throw. The sound is about the same with the two skimmers but the DCS150 can ramp down the speed which reduces the audible noise. I like the controllability of the DCS150 over the 1000.
