I noticed when i run the pump on my classic 110-INT in the VERTICAL position it makes more noise (pulsing/gurgle noise coming from silencer) when i run it in the HORIZONTAL position its quieter, is there a reason why that is?? i rather it run in the VERTICAL position but the sound is annoying.

It really has to do with the vacuum created by the venturi. You can safety run the pump either way.
